Gary R. Thompson, P.Geo.

Chairman and CEO, President, Director

A Brixton Metals Co-founder and entrepreneur, Gary has over 25 years experience in resources including precious-base metals, oil & gas and geothermal power and has been leading a public company since 2006. Previous employment and experience includes both junior and major mining and energy companies including Newmont Mining, NovaGold Resources and Encana Corporation. Gary’s Cayley Geothermal went public in 2006 through the acquisition Sierra Geothermal Power, where he was CEO until it was acquired by Ram Power in 2010.

Cale Moodie, BSF, CPA, CA

Director and CFO

Co-founder of Brixton Metals, Cale’s career in public markets spans well over 15 years. He is a CPA and serial entrepreneur serving in roles as founder, CEO, CFO, director, and audit committee chair for numerous publicly-traded companies on both the TSX-V and CSE. Cale holds a Bachelor of Science from UBC and became a Chartered Accountant/CPA while working for KPMGs Industrial Markets Group in Vancouver prior to his foray into public markets. Cale has been involved in over $150M in financings for resource and tech companies during his tenure in capital markets.

Jason Shepherd

V.P., Investor Relations

With over 25 years of experience in investor relations, capital markets, and corporate development, primarily within the resources sector, Jason stands out as a seasoned professional in the financial communications domain. His extensive career reflects a deep commitment to excellence in every endeavor.

In this role, Jason is set to leverage his extensive networks and dynamic skill set to foster meaningful connections with investors, ensuring transparent, effective communication, and driving strategic growth initiatives. His proven track record in capital raising and investor relations promises to be a valuable asset in navigating the complex landscape of investor outreach and public markets aligning stakeholder interests with corporate goals.

Susan Flasha

Corporate Development

Susan has focussed her 20 year career on exploring for precious and base metals in Canada. She joined the Brixton Metals team in 2021 and spent the previous 10 years as a Senior Project Geologist for the Brucejack Mine and Bowser Regional Exploration program, operated by Pretium Resources. Susan started in industry as a consulting geologist at C.J. Greig & Associates on projects in BC, Ontario, Quebec, Yukon, Mexico and Eritrea. Susan graduated from Queen’s University with a Master of Science in Geological Sciences.  

Christina Anstey

V.P., Exploration

Christina joined Brixton Metals as Vice President, Exploration in 2021. She graduated from Memorial University of Newfoundland with a Bachelor of Science in Earth Sciences and has over 9 years of exploration experience in the Golden Triangle of British Columbia. She most recently served as Senior Project Geologist managing the Bowser Regional Exploration program for Pretium Resources and prior to that she worked as a Project Geologist for Cabra Consulting, Brixton Metals and Norvista Resources.

Corey James, P.Geo.

Senior Project Geologist

Corey joined Brixton Metals as a Senior Project Geologist in 2022. He graduated from Memorial University of Newfoundland with a Bachelor of Science in Earth Sciences and has over 6 years of exploration experience within Canada, largely focused within the Golden Triangle of British Columbia. Corey has most recently served as a Project Geologist with Mercator Geological Services and prior to that has worked as a Senior Project Geologist with Pretium Resources and as an Exploration Geologist with Atlantic Gold Corporation and Altius Resources.

Daniel Guestrin, P.Geo.

Senior Project Geologist

Daniel is an exploration geologist with 12 years of experience on multiple deposit styles across Canada, United States, and Dominican Republic. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Earth Sciences from the University of Waterloo and has served as a project geologist for numerous geological consulting and junior mining companies gaining varied experience from over 25 exploration projects. Prior to joining Brixton Metals in 2023, Daniel has focused his work within the Golden Triangle of northwestern BC, which has included providing specialized services of rope-access geological mapping and sampling in rugged mountainous terrain.

Diana Christianson

Community Engagement Manager

Diana has recently joined Brixton Metals as Community Engagement Manager. With over a decade of experience in resource management in Northwest British Columbia, she brings valuable knowledge and expertise to the role. Diana has lived and worked extensively in the remote locations throughout the region, giving her unique insights into the communities and people who call it home. She is passionate about nurturing existing partnerships and building new, lasting relationships with communities to ensure that Brixton’s operations have a positive impact on the region for years to come, with open communication and community involvement at the forefront.
